This is a project that could not have been completed without custom web development. The customer uses an internal custom database to manage daily operations and capture important information about the shelter animals. However, there was no website for the general public.

This is where Shankx Web Development came to help. I built a custom Ruby on Rails application with the following highlights:
- Automatic data syncing with the animal database every 10 minutes
- Intricate search feature that dynamically populates options based on previous parameter choices
- Animal detail cards that populate dynamically using AJAX for optimal site loading speed
- Admin area with PDF generation feature to print badges
I am very proud and happy about this project since I am myself a proud owner of a rescue dog.
